I had been thinking of getting a new watch because my cheap 30 euro or whatever watch from like aliexpress kept breaking and falling apart and I had repaired it many times. I was just browsing around atropos’ site, thinking of buying some knives and maybe other stuff to check them out until I saw this product. I had been thinking of getting a really nice quality watch, and after inspecting some pictures of the atroposwatch I decided to order one. Since there isn’t much information about this product on its page, just some general information like size, weight, materials, design and functions, I wasn’t really sure how it worked. It says “1970s Movement: Original, Mechanical” and I wasn’t very sure on what that means, so I assumed that maybe it runs on batteries or something, but no. The design blew my mind. You basically rotate the knob on the side, which pulls back an internal spring, which keeps the watch going for tens of hours, no batteries or anything required! Rotate it a few times every day and you’ll be good. It even has a transparent back cover, which lets you see the mechanism in action! I was stunned about its coolness when I figured out the mechanism.
The build quality of this watch is very nice. The leather on it feels good quality and very comfortable. The logo prints on the leather are very detailed and really add to the overall look, leaving you with a pleasing view from pretty much any angle you look at the product.
It even has a transparent back cover, which lets you see the mechanism in action!
