As the person who originally commissioned the project, I have to say that seeing it come to fruition was a dream come true. The build quality is top notch, with the overlays perfectly fitting into the handles. The milled bolsters is one piece sandwich construction is nicely cut. You can tell it’s hand made with little details that aren’t perfect but minor. It’s definitely not a balanced or ergonomic flipper. More form over function for sure. The handles are rectangular and blocky in the tapered areas, making it clumsy to rotate in the hands. And the blade is skinny and looks a bit out of place. But if it’s just to have a mini version of the iconic Alita’s Damascus Sword than look no further.

Takes a little time to get but this knife is beautiful and feels so good to hold! Solid construction, it’s just as nice as it looks in the photos. Big thank you to Brandon for commissioning this in the first place, it’s hard to get any Gunnm related items and owning such a high quality replica is a pleasure.
